Donate to Free Software

December is traditionally the time for donations. And since I use free software regularly, I always like to pick some out and donate to them this time of the year.

I think it is crucial to support them monetarily since free software is

“free” as in “free speech,” not as in “free beer.”

And that's why I chose these two for 2025:

HandBrake – Because it helps me to crush the size of recorded screencasts. (via VideoLAN and Blender Foundation, see here).

WireGuard – Because it helps me to safely and conveniently connect to my home network.
